Deep Pile Foundations

Our Deep Pile Foundations are designed to set your building on a competent bearing layer deep below ground.
How it’s done

Deep Pile Foundations use all three types of  MultiPoles. These can be up to 22m long and may be joined in order to penetrate great depths. All you need is an identified bearing layer that’s at least 3m thick.

We’ll install your foundations using high frequency vibration. This process leaves pile tops undamaged and has minimal effect on neighbouring properties.

We’ll then test your foundations using either the Hiley Formula for residential foundations, or a Pile Driving Analyser (PDA) for commercial foundations.

Benefits of this system

•  Installation time frame subject to the size of the poles and the quantity and ground conditions.

•  Piles can reach great depths.

•  Non-damaging, non-disturbing installation.

•  Uses award-winning MultiPoles.

•  PS1, PS3 and PS4 provided.

Additional design options

Our Deep Pile Foundations can support your enhanced concrete slab or timber floor.

After a superior option? We can design your Deep Pile Foundations to have a dependable pile bearing capacity of 500kN or more, subject to ground conditions. We can also design them to cope with 300mm of lateral movement.

Site visit and installation

First of all, we’ll need a geotechnical report for your site. If you don’t have one of these, we’ll help you get one.

This will be based on your geotechnical report, and could involve the customisation of one or more of our existing foundation systems.

Our installation processes are fast and efficient. They’ll have minimal impact on neighbouring properties and will leave your site undamaged.
